Introducing over 250 new decorative lighting products

Thomas lighting announces the introduction of over 250 new decorative lighting products

The January lighting market in Dallas, Texas was the site of the grand debut for the new Thomas Lighting 2004 – 2005 catalog. The catalog features over 250 new decorative lighting products and 23 new families. As families of product are becoming increasingly more popular, Thomas Lighting has addressed this need with a diverse offering. Application shots are prominent in the catalog and were met with resounding applause from the consumer and distributor alike. “We try to give the consumer a few ideas on what our fixtures might look like in their homes,” said Gina Rueff, Director of Marketing for Thomas Lighting. “We spend a great deal of time and effort finding homes that will complement our new fixtures. The theme for our catalog is “Because it’s for your home”. We want the lighting that you choose for your home to be a purchase that we know you will be happy with for a long time.”

The bathroom lighting has been presented in a unique way. Since most consumers have an idea of the finish that they are looking for when they look to choose their lights for the bathroom, we have laid the bath section out according to finish. This will make it easier to co-ordinate the plumbing fixtures with the lighting fixtures.

A great deal of attention was paid to the Lighting Tips section which is at the back of the book. The pages are perforated so that they can be torn out of the book and kept as a reference or guide. A graph section is provided so that a consumer can make a sketch of the home and make note of the fixtures they would like to use in the home. Lighting tips have become a wonderful resource especially for those looking for more detailed information.

The 288-page catalog made its debut at the January Dallas Lighting Market. This marked the return to the market for Thomas Lighting after an absence of 14 years. Both the new showroom and the new catalog were well received. Customers were encouraged to peruse the catalog to find the hidden Thomas Lighting logo. The first 25 customers to find the logo were rewarded with a $100.00 Best Buy Gift certificate. The hidden logo promotion has been offered on the past two introductions of the new catalog., each time is has been an overwhelming success.
